Holy Family University ABSN Spring 2020

Published

Hi everyone! Like every pre-nursing student, I’m extremely anxious as I wait to find out if I got into the program. I applied for the priority deadline for the full time program and saw that my status finally moved to complete-pending review! Does anyone know how long apps typically take to get reviewed?

Best of of luck to my fellow pre-nursing students!

@Marrmarr The email I received stated:

“The 2nd Degree program tuition is $36,000 effective July 1, 2019*.

There will also be incidental expenses, for items such as books, uniforms, etc., above this amount.”

So $36,000 + uniforms, books, supplies, etc..

@gabbbw I honestly forget, but I do know upon asking about a different question via email on 7/3, Marie told me that I had been accepted. I received an official email 7/8. My app changed to “decision made” at some point on 7/3.

Hi everyone - congrats to all who got in! I was planning to apply to the Fall 2020 start night/weekend program, but I am now really considering applying now for the January start. Has anyone who's been accepted received any information yet about the schedule or orientation date? Also, were all of your Nutrition classes taught by a dietitian? Did you have to submit your syllabus?

Thanks!

Jenifer

Was just accepted into the full time spring 2020 cohort today! Did anyone take anatomy and physiology separately? I am asking because I was told I had to take A&P2, but I thought when you took the two seperatley it was the same as taking two semesters of A&P.

@jll9063b From what I’ve heard, orientation is about a month prior to the start of the program. Also, I’m pretty sure the class schedule will be very similar to the sample schedule on their website! If you go onto the webpage about the 20 month program and scroll down a little, you should see a sample schedule or program fact sheet where it shows it!

Hi, Does anyone know if there are still seats available for the Spring 2020 class?

And do they use rolling admissions or do they look at all applications until the August deadline?

Thank you!

Hi, I did not receive any information regarding the orientation date, except that it will occur one month prior to the start of class and that information will be sent around that time. And yes, my nutrition course was taught by a dietitian but I did not need to submit a syllabus.

@Ana123Hi, I think they review applications in batches and accept students all the way until the class is full.

Congrats!! I have been so out of the loop with this thread, but I got my acceptance letter via email. I switched to part time and I’m so happy that I did.

At the visit I attended last month, they said that the nutrition course MUST be taught by a Registered Dietitian. I’d call the school you’re taking the class at to confirm before taking it. Good luck

Hey! I’m planning to apply for fall 2020, could those accepted into the program share your grades and what pre reqs you had completed that the time of application?
