I submitted my Holy Family University ABSN application for Fall 2019 and wanted to create a thread to talk to others that have also applied.

Congrats. I uploaded the paper that shows the breakdown below. I’m sure your would be a bit different but the price should be similar.

Kward500, what time did you get the email?? Yesterday my pending changed to complete and I have been refreshing my email like a madwoman!!

Thank you!!!! I had been waitlisted into the full time option.

I got the email yesterday after my decision changed to complete on Friday! I am sure you will get something soon!!!! I am trying to find the curriculim outline but cannot seem to find it anywhere!

Earlier posts on allnurses about HFU say that it’s 2 day Clinicals a week 12 hour days and then 2 days in class! But I assume as the program goes on you either get more Clinicals per week or more lectures? I guess we’ll see!

I still haven’t received an email or anything so I’m hoping it’s not a bad sign;(

Does your status say decision made? Did you apply to the other fall option and not hear ? I had applied for the original fall section and found out i was waitlistd, then told them to shift my application to the 20 month since we could not have 2 applications in two diff programs.

It’s for the fall! And it does say decision made but I haven’t heard anything! Honestly I should call I’m just nervous it will be bad news haha how did you find out you were waitlisted?

Usually clinicals start during the MedSurg I session and there you have 1 clinical per week in the accelerated program that is usually at a nursing home environment. Every clinical except for MedSurg II, which was x2 a week for 12 hours each was 1 x per week for 12 hours. Not sure how they are going to split it with the 20 month option, maybe something like the traditional program that has clinical for 6 hours per day 2 x per week?
