Holmes ADN acceptance letters for Fall 2011

Has anyone heard when the acceptance letters are going out for the Fall 2011 ADN program at Holmes Community College - Ridgeland?

Thanks for the info! My best friend is going nuts waiting! I keep telling her that my ADN instructors don't have anything to do with it but she keeps asking me for any info! Good luck everyone and let us know when you find out!!!

Goodman campus LPN sent out acceptance emails so if you applied there check your email and let us know.

I was chosen as an alternate what does that exactly mean?

That means that if anyone rejects their spot or if they fail the drug test or background check then they choose an alternate to fill that spot. I am not sure how many alternates they pick, but you might have a good chance of getting in. I'm sure they always have someone that has changed their mind and rejects their spot. I know when we had orientation last year the alternates came to orientation so they would get all of the info in case someone dropped. I hope you get in. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!!

I'm loving this thread. I'm in Water Valley, about 30 miles from Grenada. I'm taking pre reqs at Northwest in Oxford. I have an undergrad degree, graduated in 1998 and have a 28 on my ACT. Do I need all A's on my pre reqs? Experience? I did caregiving for 2 years and volunteer at the local nursing home.

I just started pre reqs this summer. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated! Congrats everyone!

What should I wear to orientation? DOes it matter? Or should I wear scrubs?

When is orientation? The secretary at Grenada told me to just show up on the first day but I wonder if she meant for ridgeland or Grenada campus... :confused:
