Has anyone heard when the acceptance letters are going out for the Fall 2011 ADN program at Holmes Community College - Ridgeland?
I am currently in the ADN program at Holmes in Ridgeland. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it here. I asked the director about the acceptance for fall 2011, she said over 200 letters have been sent out this week to those who definitely did not get in. There are 192 left for consideration for 50 spots in Ridgeland and 60 in Grenada. Does that help you guys? Anything else I can help you with?
I had a 4.0 with all my classes, except for the actual nursing ones completed. My ACT was 27. I know of ACT's of 21 in my class and a GPA of 2.95. There is a various range of them as you see. This is just the minimum of the ones in my class that I know of. Having a job, knowing someone, having a letter written for you, etc. will NOT help you get in. They pretty much weigh completed classes, GPA and ACT. They do take past students that failed or withdrew first though that is usually only 2 or 3 people.

Well, I asked the woman in charge of the ADN program about the letters, but didn't get a chance to ask her about the other stuff. Honestly, she sounded so busy and rushed that I didn't know if it would make her angry that I was asking! I was scared! hahah! I'm at Holmes now too. I wonder if we are in classes together???
