What do you think it means?

It is a contra indication meaning you withhold med and most likely would notify doctor of this finding

Before giving the med, you take the bp and pulse. If the systolic is less than 100 and the hr is less than 60, you hold the med. Also notify the doctor.

ok so meaning, no giving of med less than the listed B/P or HR....tnx u all so much...it really helps....

You should always know your patient's VS prior to giving meds, but for some meds the ranges are specific, such as the example you gave..."hold if B/P

yeh right digoxin and the other one is coreg....

Most antihypertensives you should know the BP and Pulse before giving, if your CNA's report has it low, then the nurse should take again before holding or giving meds. Pain meds we were taught to hold and call the doc for respirations below 12.
