Hoboken University Medical Center or Bergen Regional Medical Center?

Hello everyone!!

I'm being considered for a position at Hoboken University Medical Center and Bergen Regional Medical Center!! I would like some feedback on both of those hospitals from somebody who is or has worked there!! Please Help me!! All input will be greatly appreciated!!

What a coincidence. I have a classmate who got interviewed within a week and half ago at both places. And i'm sure you're not him.

One of the nurse educators from my agency works in Hoboken now. She has at least 20 years of experience and I trust her word. All I heard was what a great place it is and what a great preceptorship programm they have :nurse: I wish I myself could work there, but they have no openings for new grads now.

So, good luck to you! I hope you'll get a job there.:wink2:

Do not work at Bergen Regional Medical Center. Stay far away. Never worked there but it's a disaster. I read in the paper they had a drawer full of pre-typed consents for when patients needed surgery and just had patients sign the pre-printed consents. This has been written up by the state. Its a community hospital and basically FULL of psychiatric and prison in-mates. Why are you considering two hospitals so far apart ? Which do you live closer to ?
