That's ok, I just wasn't sure.

I'm currently in the LPN program at Hinds Rankin campus. When I applied last year in March there were no special requirements as far as GPA. I believe your ACT needs to be 16 or above, but the higher the score does not determine whether you are chosen or not. You have to take the NET test and turn in all your transcripts from previous colleges along with your high school dipolma or GED. Then based on when you get all this turned is where you will be as far as the list. When I turned mine in last March for the Rankin campus (which only has new classes for LPN's every January) I was number 14 on the list. You are able to call and find out what number you are so you can figure out when you can get in. Let me know if you have any more questions, hope this helped. :D

Ok thanks for your help I have already turned in all my information my ACT score is an 18 the only thing that I havent taken is the NET test, I am scheduled to take the NET on the 1st of February.. I also have been hearing alot of negativity about Hinds NAHC, how do you like the Rankin program so far? Demanding? Good teachers who are willing to help? I know these are alot of questions Im just curious because I have also applied to Holmes but they were saying my ACT score is kinda low and I dont see how when the minimum score is a 16..

No worries, thankfully I had some one to ask all these questions to also.

As far as NAHC being bad, I can't really say since I haven't been over there. You hear things about all programs.

I like the Rankin campus and the teachers are great! I heard the LPN program is demanding period since you learn so much in a little amout of time. I devote about 5 hours of my day to reading. The teachers are very helpful.

If you applied to the NAHC first which I did you can change campus' by calling them, but I do think you have to go in and sign a paper also.

I called Holmes to find out about there program also, they told me how competitive there entry process is. Your ACT score of 18 is what you need for the ADN program at Rankin, so I'm not real sure why they say it's low for the LPN.

Good luck on the NET test.. =)

I past my Net but unfortunately found out that I am 162 on the waiting list for NAHC campus I really want to get in the program for August im so freaked out!!

Congratulations on passing the NET test!! =)

As far as that wait list, are you close enough to maybe go to the Rankin campus? They only admit once a year though and it's in January. I can't believe the wait list has gotten so long. Try not to stress too much, a lot of people fall off the list due to jobs, finances and so on.

I am close to rankin but I was trying to go in August and I really hope thats what happen because I am so determined to get into the program. I applied for Holmes also but their school is so competitive it seems that my 18 ACT wouldnt matter.:crying2:
