Hello! I was wondering if anyone else is planning on applying to the HCC nursing program for the spring of 2018? I just finished this rough semester and I was hoping there would be other people on here that I can talk to about this upcoming goal! (:
I turned in my application Aug 3rd, it says everything received except my nursing prerequisites and that its - UNDER REVIEW status Not Rec'dI took all my nursing prereq's at HCC, should I be worried that it's still UNDER REVIEW?
Same thing happened to me, nothing to be worried about. They are just review it. It should show received soon :)
Hi everyone! Hope you're having a good day!I submitted my packet August 10th, how long does it usually take for any information to populate?
How is everyone feeling about actually starting the nursing program?
I turned my application in Aug 3rd and everything was up within 3 days except my nursing prereq's which is still UNDER REVIEW as of today.
I'm so excited and nervous about starting the program! This is one of, if not the biggest chapters in my book of "Life" lol
Oh wow! I turned my information on the 10th and I still don't see any changes. I'm wondering if anything is missing í ¾í´”
I agree I think this is an awesome experience, even the nerves of waiting and I'm cautiously excited about starting, the nursing program. I know it'll be a lot of information but should be a great experience.

Hello all!
I am sure most(all) of us, are anxiously awaiting the update from the health sciences department. So to distract a little from that, I have a question to anyone that would like to answer.
What nursing specialties are you considering or what areas would you like to work in the most?
I'll start.... I'd like to work in the ICU or any trauma center. I would also love to receive my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, eventually.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Hey everyone ! Im an alternate that got in for fall 2017 with a 3.57 gpa. Don't let high gpas scare you. There's no way to tell what the gpa is going to be it all depends on the pool of people and don't base your judgement just off of allnurses since for our group we had 30 people or less and there were over 300 people whom actually applied. Everyone keep their heads up!!! If you all have any questions feel
Free to ask. Enjoy this time that you have now because once acceptance goes out you all will be really busy and school will start before you know it! For anyone that didn't get a A in college algebra I do recommend taking pre cAlc in the meantime that way just incase you don't get accepted this time your chances will be higher next time. It's something I considered when I wasn't accepted at first. However fortunately I got in. Good luck everyone :)
