Hillsborough Community College Fall 2018

I submitted my application for Fall 2018 about 3 weeks ago. Finished up my prerequisites this past Fall. Prereq GPA 3.86 (if my calc is correct lol). I have a B in English and all other grades are A's. Teas score 77. Hoping for Dale Mabry campus mornings. This wait is killing me! I just saw today that under "Progress Toward Degree" it now has "AS.APPL.NURB A.S. - Applicant / A.D.N. Basic" and my TEAS score now shows up under "Test Summary" so it looks like my application was received. Ill be stalking HawkNet every day for any changes!

Awesome. Im submitting my application soon. I'm taking my last prereq classes now. I should have a 3.67 at then end of the semester. I got a 72 on the teas. I will update my final g.p.a at the end of the semester. It's getting closer and I'm so nervous

Hey guys! Just noticed this post and I wanted to wish y'all luck. I was literally in your seats a year ago. The wait sucks- I'm not going to lie lol. Best thing to do is try to go have fun while you can.

It's also a good thing this website already introduces y'all to one another and it makes the whole process less stressful. I don't know about y'all but having others who are going through the same thing as you is helpful. I met some really good friends through here before orientation even started. And that made orientation a lot more relaxing.

I don't know the new curriculum since it started in spring but I'm sure I could help with any questions y'all have. And if I don't know the answer I can definitely have a friend in the new curriculum join and answer some questions.

Does anyone know how they calculate credits earned through the IB program into the pre req GPA??

Hey y'all! I'm Chris.I have a 3.04 pre req Gpa which I know is awful but I always say never give up. I'm applying for the nursing program and hoping for plant city days. I got a 60 on the Teas. I'm just hoping and praying I receive a miracle and get in.even if it's an alternate seat. Best of luck to everyone and I hope we all get in!

When will you guys know if you got in?

the deadline is may 15th and the website said at least 4 weeks after this so.... a while :/ so many nerves!

Hey guys! I'm applying too and so nervous/excited. I have a 3.86 pre req and a 79 on my teas. I just checked my documents and everything was received but my pre reqs say its under review and says due date asap... hopefully they're just still entering everything into the system when I look at my progress towards the degree it says the pre reqs are all complete and the gpa for it is 3.86. Is anyone elses saying this? I'm hoping to get into southshore but really anything I can get into would be amazing, I just want to be a nurse.

Wreed yes my prereq say 'under review' as well. I was hoping I wasn't the only one lol. I've been driving myself crazy by checking every single day...knowing nothing will change for a while smh.

I made a 64 on the teas, should I retake it? Do they count the teas scores towards acceptance?
