Hillsborough Community College Fall 2015

Just finished my prereqs and getting my application ready to submit for the fall term at Hillsborough Community College. All A's and except one C for my prereqs, brings my GPA to 3.71. Hopefully it's good enough to get me in.

Anyone else applying to this school for fall?

I'm PC nights and weekends! Someone created a Facebook page for us to communicate! Just search Hillsborough nursing 2015 on fb :)

Will anybody be attending Plant City nights/weekends?

I am! If you look at the posts above there's a link for a FB group. Everyone that is accepted for fall '15 is in there. There's a few other classmates in our campus too.

Ok great I'm so excited! Have you guys bought your books yet? Or anything nursing related? I still have to get a physical and my immunizations.

Is there a spring application date as well? I thought you could only apply to start in fall. That would be great if there was since I don't think I'll finish my prereqs until May 2016, so I don't want to have to wait until January 2017 to apply if I can help it

There's a spring application date as well as a fall date. Before you apply you have to finish your prereq's. You can go onto HCC's website to see the requirements and due dates for this fall and next spring.

Program Options:

Basic/ Dale Mabry, Southshore and Plant City

Daytime Basic /Plant City – Evening /Weekend

January 15 SUMMER Entry –

Transition Option:

LPN to RN/ Dale Mabry only.

June 1 SPRING entry

Program Options:

Basic - Dale Mabry , Southshore and Plant City - Daytime

Basic – Dale Mabry – Evening /Weekend

At this time, we do not accept late applications.

Hello everyone! I have scrubs that are in great condition that I'm willing to give to someone for free. I bought three sets and they are size L from the Grey's Anatomy selection (Very comfortable). I also have a matching jacket for the colder mornings. 😊. Finally I have a pair of nursing shoes size 9. Send me an email and I can leave them with your instructor to pick up. Has anyone been able to purchase their scrubs from Iguana Med yet? None of the faculty at HCC has emailed me back yet and I sent an email 5 days ago. Also do we have to attend the other orientation on August 17th?

Are you following the Hillsborough nursing 2015 in Facebook? Its the page we are all using for communication with one another. I think no one had been successful with the uniforms. í ½í¸’
