Hello everyone,

So my dream since I can remember has been to become a nurse; however, it seems as if it will never happen. I recently finished my pre-requisite courses to apply to the fall semester of the HCC nursing program. While I did not get any C's I made mostly B's :blink:earning A's in two classes and one lab. I realize this is not good enough since it puts my GPA at around a 3.38. Since I did not fail any of my classes, I don't believe I will be able to retake them. Is there any possible way to retake them? Or any way to increase my GPA since they mainly look at the pre-requisite courses? If not, what other options do I have for becoming a nurse? If anyone is out there who could offer any help it would be greatly appreciated. I will submit my application regardless but I don't have any high hopes of getting accepted, if there is anyway to increase my chances I would be so grateful to find out!

Yup that's it! Sorry I just got home. Just make sure you go to CPR for HCC students. It's 28.00

Hey @lovelylioness23 I have a question for you. Do you happen to know which room its going to be done at for the CPR class? Or do they tell you once you register? I just want to make sure since I'll be coming from work and need to rush right in there

Not sure my receipt says TBD so maybe if we aren't notified by then there may be a memo on the door or something.

You must call and find out the room location. When I attended they told me the wrong room to report to. You may both want to call and then compare notes.

I called and the CPR class will be in BTEC 307 tonight from 6 to 10 pm

It went really well and we got done a little early! We received our cards right there after we took a test and corrected any mistakes we made. I'm so glad that's done and marked off the checklist!:geek:

Just an FYI for anyone who received Plant City mornings. It is actually considered the afternoon program 1pm to 4pm. I just confirmed that with someone in the Health Admissions dept.

Congrats to everyone that received their first choice! I got Plant City nights and weekends. Not too sure where in priority I put it, but happy, nonetheless.

With that being said, would anyone know what a more detailed schedule would look like for PC nights and weekends(specific days)? I have to know for work :(.

Thought I'd ask you all first before I started reaching out to various points of contact.

You can see the classes and times when you go to register. I believe it is 5 to 8pm and clinicals are on Saturdays. Double check though. Act like you are registering...put in 1213c and all 5 classes will come up. Hope that helps!
