Lee- Thank you so much for the info on titers. Can you take the titers test into any clinic type setting and they will do it there in the office? For example, the minute clinic at C-- or Lakeland Med Center do they prefer to do there own testing and make a you pay more for their testing if available? I just dont want to pay for the titers and then walk into a clinic for them to say we only use the titers that we provide. I guess I could call? This is so not my area of expertise! Any help you could provide would be so helpful.

The website has a clinic search for the clinics near you that they use. You have to order and checkout online for that price. At checkout you have to pick the clinic you want and then within 24 hours they send you an email with an authorization to get your blood drawn there. I can almost guarantee that you will not finding them cheaper then on that site, at least I couldn't.

Oh, ok. I see how it works. Now it all makes sense! :) I bet it is the cheapest. I will be getting my titers done there. Thanks again for the explanation and info. You did all of the leg work! Thanks!!

Hey everyone I just got my Varicella titer, tdap, and tb test done at the Pasco County Health Department and it only cost me $104 which i think is pretty cheap. Plus its on a walk-in basis on Mon and Tues. Hope that helps

Will they let you switch campuses? I have DM Pm and wanted SS.

If you can find a SS person that wants yours yo may, but the trouble will be finding someone.

Just to put it out there I am still looking to switch from Plant City nights and weekends to the Dale Mabry campus. If anybody knows of anybody who is looking to switch, please let me know. I would be forever grateful!!

I wanted to get an update on the WIA/BRH thing and give any info that I have.

Paris is no longer working at WIA, and they directed me to a phone number that only had me leave a message, and I don't know if it is the right people.

I have also left a message and sent an email to AV to see if she can tell me what to do as far as registration goes. She's the one that will have to tell us if we should go ahead and register where we picked instead of waiting for word from BRH.

I hate feeling like my hands are tied, and since I have to do a degree audit for my PELL, and I can't do that without registering for class, I am stuck; and I know I'm not the only one in this boat.

I feel bad for the folks waiting for our 12 spots to be opened up too! I wish that someone would make up my mind, I'm pulling my hair out over here!!

Has anyone heard anything else about this?

I just finished a livechat with one of the HCC folks to figure out what to do about financial aid. He said (and I kept a copy JIC) that Friday is not really a deadline and that is just their preference to receive paperwork. If we get the paperwork to them after Friday, they will still give us aid.

I also found out that loans are dispursed in August when grants are; so my hope of FA paying for my shots/tests/uniforms/etc isn't going to happen! Darn. Still nothing from Dr. V or the WIA office though.

Ugh. Financial aid, grrrrrr. I'm going thru appeal process now I sent in my appeal and documentation this morning. Have no idea when I'll have an answer back from them..

All of this is a big struggle
