The anticipation is killing me. Still waiting for an acceptance or a decline as an alternate. Looked at previous year threads and some alternates found out May 12th which is next week!!!! Still hoping my 3.57 as alternate gets me in! :) Please post if you hear of anything. I will be checking the mail everyday and anxiously awaiting!!

Also, spoke with a friend of mine yesterday that just finished her first semester in the SPC RN program and she said everybody is scared at first with the clinicals and eventually you will love them and you get will get attached the patients! She also mentioned that she is going to take her CNA test, which you are able to take after your first semester of RN program.

I loved picking her brain about everything!! She had some great stories! I really hope I get in, the suspense is killing me!!! :)

Yes, I did! Nice to have some familiar faces!! I think SS only has the 1 class for NPI, which looks like 2pm, but when I talked to the lady at the nursing dept, she said it was considered AM.
Ok, cool. Yeah we sat a seatover from one another, lol. I guess you decided not to go to Galen. Well, I'm sure I'll see you at orientation. I'm hoping to get in Southshores program regardless of time.

Yes I checked. I typed in her name for Summer and Fall but she's only doing 1085. Bummer. :(

If you go on hcc website and click on search sections you can pull up Fall's schedule for all the campuses. Southshore Nursing I is showing 2 days of clinicals. Maybe it rotates and isn't both?

For all of u ladies and gens waiting on the appeal's commitee to get back with u, well the wait is almost over...finally. I spoke to ML today, and she said the letters will be mailed out this coming Tuesday, which will be May 8th. So we should expect a letter from the mailman next Thursday or Friday, or maybe even Saturday at the latest. So less than a week to go...yeahhhhh

Oh man, if appeals are already going out maybe people will start moving out of seats to make room for the alternates!! :)
