Highest paying LVN job??

i work in west los angeles, at the veterans home of california. we are always looking for lvns and the pay is $3400-$4100/month, which comes out to be around $21-$26 per hour. plus, we have awesome benefits like vacation, ceus, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision. i always thought we paid our lvns on the lower end of the scale, but after looking at some of the other posts and seeing what they pay around the country; i guess it's not too bad. our hr person is really nice, you can always call her if you have any questions about applying.

hi does the company offer shift and weekend differential?

If anyone could shed some more light on this matter, I'd love to hear about it. I was doing some per diem nursing supervisor work at one of the LTC places around here, & one of the LPN's, who was also there per diem, & I got talking & the subject of traveling to CT on the weekends came up, & while I knew that LPN's were getting about $30 hr to travel from NY & work there, she mentioned that RN's were being paid twice that to work LTC nursing supervisor shifts on weekends. To be fair, I think it was the more affluent areas like Greenwich though. It seemed a little steep to me, but if anyone knows who to call or where to go, I'm all ears.

I live in Houston Texas and make $27.00 an hour as an lvn at a psychiatric hospital. Cost of living is not bad either.

A friend of mine works in the hospital as an LVN and she gets $46/hr. I work in long term care and our highest paid LVN makes $35.
