I am a prospective nursing school student and just have a simple question.
I often have elevated blood pressure when being assessed for a physical generally in the 140/90 sort of range, when taken outside of clinical settings it is usually a bit better, around 130/80. I am otherwise in great shape and quite physically fit. Could elevated blood pressure readings like this cause potential employment problems? Would a prospective employer not hire you based on this alone?
We can not give medical advice, but I would recommend keeping track and providing the info to your doctor. For your well-being, not for the benefit of a potential employer.
