Hi from international pre-nursing and future nursing student!

Published

Hello!

My name is Valentyna and I'm an international pre-nursing student here in the U.S. Currently me and my family live in Michigan.

I've been accepted to nursing school for fall 2011, but also I'm an alternate student for fall 2010. Hopefully I'll be able to start next fall because I don't want to wait very long.

I was just wondering if there are other international pre-nursing and nursing students on this forum and how they're doing in nursing program. I'm really excited about becoming a nurse, but also I'm very scared, because I'm not sure if I'll be good enough to go through nursing program.

Or maybe you are currently going to nursing school with an international students, so please tell me that they are doing as good as other students. Guess I just need a little bit of encouragement :)

Thank you! :)

Hey Welcome!

I have several foreign students in my class and they are doing great! Plus I get to practice speaking some French and Spanish. They are a real asset to the class and to class discussions. Good luck being an alternate!
