Hi everyone!! Any pre-nursing students for Eastern Florida State College palm bay program!

Published

I am applying into the palm bay 2016 program and seeing if anyone out there is in the same boat and or is currently a student in the program!! Super excited but extremely nervous.

I am thinking about applying to the Palm Bay campus. I live in Cocoa, but I don't want to wait another year!! My main concern and what brought me here today, is the night and weekend schedule at Palm Bay. Do you have any idea what the typical schedule is like? I work full time and have 3 kids, so I would have to figure out where they would go during my classes.

Hi well when I spoke to advisor she stated to me it was tuesday from 2-9pm, friday And sundays from 6am-to 2pm. Are you sighed up for a nursing sucess course and if you dont mind me asking how many points do you have??

That schedule isn't bad. I think I could do that. I have not signed up for the Nursing Success Course yet, but plan on soon. The points I have so far, adding in the success course, orientation, and advisement points is 30. I still have to take Microbiology and I am taking that over the summer. If I get an A, I should have a final of 35 points. What about you? Have you taken the TEAS Test yet?

Yes, i have. I didnt score so high but what they need for the program. After I do the nursing class and orientation i will have a total of 38 points. Do you know anyone that has taken this nursing program at this school before?

Wow. 38 points is awesome! No I don't know of anyone that had taken the program. I'm extremely excited, I just hope I can get in. Otherwise, I guess I'll apply for Cocoa next year!

Well are you going to the orientation June 9th at palm bay campus? I will be there cause it gives you points.

I am going to go to the Melbourne campus on July 15th. The time works better for me, plus it's closer. I'm going to see an adviser tomorrow to see where I stand.

Cool let me know how it goes!!

I'm not, but I'm originally from Cocoa! I earned my AS when it was still BCC. I live in NC and wish I was in fl still

Did you do the nursing program?? How was it??

Just my general Associate's to transfer to UCF
