HFCC Winter 2017

Published

Hey everyone. I just applied to the HFCC program for Winter 2017 and thought I would start a thread to see if anyone else will be applying too. I am pretty nervous and would like to get some insight as to how many points you had when you got accepted.

Thanks!

Do we have to bring anything to clinical other than our lab tote and books/laptop to go over how to use the ebooks?

I'd say a notebook because they're going to have you taking some notes, a pen for signing paperwork and some hand lotion.

Were the clinical sizes small?

What do you guys think of classes so far?

What do you guys think of classes so far?

Its cool, Im thinking that they are really going to try to help us succeed. There were some pretty funny videos in 101 today however, basically half the class was cracking up by the end. @Hawrsh20 who did you get for lecture? Mervin and I got Prof. Kearney and shes an ANGEL.

Hey everyone I start the program next month. Hows it going for you guys so far? Any tips for the newbies?

I think I can speak for all of us when I say it was a REALLY bumpy ride í ½í¸… But we made amazing friends along the way. Enjoy your last weeks summer!!

I agree with Hawrsh20. Its bumpy but you will make it.

1. Study every day.

2. Listen intently during class

3. Read the chapter before you have the class on it.

4. DO NOT EVER MISS A CLASS and be on time for all clinical days.

5. Make friends and hold each other accountable for going to enrichment sessions.

If you follow these things you should be good.

Hi All,

Hope everybody is having a great summer!

I wanna ask if the books are only avaible/ exclusive at the bookstore or they're you cam buy them outside hfcc bookstore?

Youre gonna have to buy the package from the bookstore unfortunately. The teachers will be giving you assignments online.

Hi guys,

Is it possible to wear different brand of shoes for clinicals like Nike tennis shoes?
