HFCC Winter 2017

Hey everyone. I just applied to the HFCC program for Winter 2017 and thought I would start a thread to see if anyone else will be applying too. I am pretty nervous and would like to get some insight as to how many points you had when you got accepted.

The unisex fit was so strange. I felt like they were way too big at the top but too tight on the hips.

Yeah i wonder why they did that. I feel so frumpy in them :(

Yeah, I definitely do NOT feel cute. I guess thats the point but yeesh, these are bordering on uncomfortable. Im wondering if they'd even notice if we got the pants in another style. Id be ok with wearing them for a few weeks while newer more comfy pants came in.

I'm just gonna go to Meijer or a scrubs store and pick some out. I can literally fit another person in the hem with me.

The fabric around the waist line is super bunchy.

Are you guys ready?? Classes are about to start!! Did you guys buy the kits yet or not? A friend told me theyre in. Ill be going tomorrow to buy the kit and the books. I also got some school supplies and a new backpack! So excited to start;)

So excited! Just got back home from getting my kit. Its bigger than I thought it would be!

I looked inside briefly... Its like a huge first aid kit lol.

Is this stuff supposed to last us all year though?

I didn't take anything out because everything is packed so perfectly, I'm afraid I wont be able to get it all back in! I only saw a fluids bag. I'm hoping this at least lasts us the semester :cry:

By the way do you guys know what a disposable penlight is? Does it stop working after a certain amount of uses? The disposable penlights have the pupil sizes on them while the regular ones dont.

I don't think you can replace the battery on the disposable ones. I bought both kinds. I'm taking the disposable one to the hospital with me just in case I loose it there...

I looked in my bag.. Lol theres a packet full of fake drugs... Its pretty funny because I think theyre plastic.
