The English part is really assessing your scientific comprehension. I don't know what one you had but mine was about the habits of bears. There is really no way anyone can help you prepare; you have the study guide so just go over the examples there and if you are doing okay, you should also nail it this time around. Be confident and prepared when you sit down to take it. We all get anxiety when we sit down to do these things but if you are self-assured and tell yourself you WILL pass then you will. Mind over matter! Do not let this test stand in your way! Good luck!:redbeathe

I'm taking my NET test in a couple of weeks, but what percent do you have to get in order to pass and I've heard about a stress portion on the test as well do we get graded on that part???

you need a 65 on the english and 65 on the math. the stress part does not go against your grade its just to see how your stress level is.

the test i took was also on bears and hibernation which bored me to death! i heard that if you fail the test they dont give you the same one. i heard the second one is about sleep patterns .. i think..

Just remember to answer the questions based on the reading...not on what you know to be true...for example if the question asks you what color is the sky and in the reading it says it is green...don't say that it's blue. Obviously that's not how easy the question will be but don't take previous knowledge learned and use it to answer any question. As odd as that sounds most people I know who failed the 1st time that is exactly what they did.

I heard a great way to approach the english portion is to read the questions first (so you know what they're looking for) , then read the paragraph and then answer the question.

Good luck
