Hello everyone, are there any HFCC students here applying for fall 2020? Let’s keep in touch here, what are your thoughts about the HESI exam being waived for this semester?

 Good Luck y’all. I really mean that... I’m 35, this is my 2nd time applying and I think I’m starting get discouraged and losing heart quick.

I got into Chamberlain and so far it’s pretty good but it’s crazy expensive. I did the reapply for HFCC so I hope they accept me but if they don’t at least I’m already in a nursing program.

Well I just got the denial email AGAIN!! Thank god I’m already at Chamberlain. I’m a little disappointed though.

Just wondering...what is crazy expensive? I already have 60 cr hours so I just need to take nursing courses

It’s $699 per credit. Once most of the non nursing classes are completed the price drops big time.

Hey, I applied to hfcc again and was accepted but as an alternate. I am #5 on the waitlist. I really hope a seat opens up for January. I wasn't aware they had an alternate list, I have never heard of it. Do you guys have any information? 

Also, I'm sorry about your denails. It really does suck getting denied, but once they bring the HESI back it will be balanced out better. Don't give up!! I had no idea it was this competitive, it used to not be 2 years ago. I have friends who graduated from there recently.

Congrats to you! I wasn’t aware of that list either. Yup changing up things with the HESI made a huge difference.
