Hello everyone, are there any HFCC students here applying for fall 2020? Let’s keep in touch here, what are your thoughts about the HESI exam being waived for this semester?

Let’s all keep in touch and shared thoughts and experiences.

I don’t know how they choose applicants. Deadline was July 15th two days later on the 17th we get the emails. You would think they require more time to screen the applicants.

Due date was July 15th, The emails were sent July 17th. it took them two days to make decisions and review all the applicants. I just wish It was transparent how the applicants were chosen rather than leave us wondering.

I plan on applying to Chamberlain. If I knew earlier that I wouldn't get accepted to HFCC then I would apply for the July start at Chamberlain.

Well they have a session starting in September, go ahead and apply we might become classmates.

My bf goes to Chamberlain. He said he had a teacher last semester who taught at HFCC and she said they are very strict there and fail a lot of students. ???

Oh OK. Let me know how Chamberlain goes for you. I was originally scheduled to register for classes this week but I had pushed it back to next week because I had high hopes HFCC was it for me. Your bf, how do they like Chamberlain?

He says it is not bad. Teachers are mostly nice. Except one in pharmacology, but she does not teach there anymore. That is the class he did not pass and had to retake. Since the classes are 8 weeks, everything is very fast. But over all he likes it.

I am going to have mostly all a’s and 1 c+. What’s the chance I can get in for hfc nursing? I also took 4 of the classes at u of m-Dearborn.
