Have you been formally notified by letter? Were you just simply told to expect next fall?

After the winter semester starts I will be #33 on the wait list. Are you going to HFCC?

I am applying for the Fall 2014 at HFCC. They recently switched over to the competitive admissions process. I took the HESI end of September and they stopped taking people for the waitlist during the start of September. Those who have to apply won't find out until end of March or first part of May. Do you happen to know how many people were left on the waitlist?

How did you find out you were #33 on the wait list? I took the HESI exam in early August, right before they switched to the competitive admissions and was told I would have a chance at Fall 2014 admission. Did you just call the nursing office and ask what number you were? Do you know when they send out the letters? I hope to be in the Fall 2014 class. :)

I saw on the hfcc fb page that people will be notified about orientation in May.

I went to their website and it says you need to take the NAT. Have things changed?

I took the HESI exam in November 12 & I got on the wait list in the beginning of Jan 13. I know they changed the whole entry system but Ive been keeping in touch ever since than & I've been told for a year now that Im looking to start in Fall 2014. Im currently number #50 on the list and they take in about 160 every semester. Im supposed to receive an email either in March or April telling me exactly when Im going be to admitted or if Im going to be admitted in fall 2014. Im hopeful I do.

Anyone on this board apply for Fall 14? I know most of the class will be coming off the waitlist, but Lorainne said they will back fill with the competitive applicants. I think my "score" for the application was a 57. Anyone care to share what their score was on the competitive application?

I am in the low 100's on the waitlist. Hopefully I will be invited soon. I heard the were changing some things in the curriculum? Anyone else heard this?
