When did you get put on the list? If it helps I was put on Feb 07 and I was accepted for this winter...and another girl told me she was April 07 and she was one of the last few to be accepted for winter.

I took the NET in June 07 and was put on the wait list then. I still have BIO 234 and PSY 253 and SOC to take until I get in. I am hoping I'll get in in the Fall (crossin' my fingers). Thank you for letting me know what your wait time was. It gives me hope.

Hello! Do you plan on finishing the above classes before starting? It's a VERY good idea cuz you really want to only have your nursing classes while in the program. It's a very demanding and intense program and I can only imagine the stress with other classes on top of it. There was a young woman who did very well last semester with PSY and BIO 234 but she didn't work or have a family but she was the only person who had other classes. She probably didn't anticipate she would get in when she did. You can postpone for a semester or a year if needed. I did that so I could finish up other classes and I am glad I did!!!!!!!

I'm taking Bio 234 in Winter 08 and the Psy and Soc in Spring and Summer of 08. Hopefully after that I'll get accepted into the program. I couldn't imagine taking these at the same time as nursing courses and doing well. I agree.

I figured I'll just take one class per semester so I'll keep a good GPA.

What are the intials of your 234 teacher? Do they offer PSY and SOC online? I hear this is a good option for some classes. Did you take Pharm yet? That is definitely better online, it is a very boring class!

The nursing program gives a pharm test your first semester and you use an online program to study.

Right now they don't offer psych 253 online. I know soc 131 is offered online. I'm waiting for a hopeful winter 09 entrance. I just got on the waitlist and have a&P 2 and pharmacology this semester. So I only have Psych 253 left.

T.R. I had the same teacher for 233 and t for pharmacology.i'm taking that witha friend that is a nurse so I hopefully will do ok

I had Psych left to take in my first year of nursing school - I took that Monday night section that lasted 3 hours or so. It wasn't a huge time constraint - just a drag I didn't have Mondays off like everyone else in my nursing class did. I got A's in everything that semester.

If you take this route, frab that section fast - it's filled with first year nursing students who really need that time frame. It fills up fast.

Ha I am taking that one this semester and I am a first year (first semester)...did that teacher keep you in the whole time? If it is the same teacher...I just can't remember their name at the moment.
