Hi kale1! I have applied for the fall 09 program, but I still have to interview next week. I am a nervous wreck! I did sign up for Patho for the fall and will be taking it, as long as I get in. Did you have to interview?

Hello, I am applying for the Winter of 2010 now. I still have to complete Organic Chemistry. Never 2 late and kale1 what did you all talk about in the personal statement? I was told that they look at grammatical errors and technical things of that sort. Do you look at what you wrote? The overall story?

I'm in the process of writing the personal statement now so I am just figuring out where to begin.

i did not have to interview thank God, but you should be okey. everyone gets nervous with interviews. who did you choose for patho? i have Omeara and have shot her an email to find out info about the texts and she has not responded yet.

Christinajoy, just be honest in your essay. why do you want to be nurse, do you have any personal experience that propells you in that direction-don't dweel too much on it, be brief. what do you think the role of a nurse is and stuff like that. of course in good English as you are going to be a professional :)

Have you heard yet from OU in regards to FALL 2009. I had my interview during the last week in July and I was unsure of when they send off the letters. Also, if you do not get in do you know if they automatically place you in JAN 2010?

When do they start doing interviews? Once all prereq's are finished or once you submit your application?

They start doing interviews after you have your pre-reqs done. Good luck.

If you dont mind be asking what was your GPA? I have a 3.2 but I thought my interview went great....but I am just nervous. I dont want to sign up to retake classes if I dont have too but there timing seems to be to close to the start dates of classes.

i too found out that a Penn Tser jeniffer or someone by that name will be teaching the class and not Omeara as i had previously thought. she send me an email about the text. is she the one you have?

I am excited to hear, but it stresses me out because if I dont get in I plan to retake classes but if I do I am starting to take the pre-nursing classes. I hope to hear soon.....so I can decide what classes i need to take! I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying every night....I am so excited to get started!
