Hi everyone!
This is my first time on allnurses.com but I want say how happy I am I found this site. I think I found my new home!
So last fall I look the HESI test for the community college I go to and I thought it was pretty easy. I am now applying to other schools and I have to take the TEAS. Have any of you taken both of these tests? Would you say they are pretty similar? More or less difficult?
Thanks for your help everyone!

Did the HESI math questions involve word problems? I am taking the HESI entrance exam in 3 wks and am getting very nervous. I hear its pretty easy but math has never been my friend. I would be more comfortable with straight math problems rather than word problems. What did you think about the anat/physio and chem portion of the test?
I havent taken the TEAS so cant help you there, sorry.

The HESI math portion is easy. I would not say I am good at math either and I scored 100% in this section. All you need to know is the math you learned in elementary school- ratio, percent, conversions. The college I go to does not require the science portion of the test so I couldn't tell you about that. Look at the study guide for math though, if you know how to do all that you will be fine- no tricks or anything.
