Hi,
I would highly suggest getting the HESI study book it will have everything in there you need to know and will prepare you well for the exam. I purchased mine from Amazon. Good luck with getting into the SRGT program I went through that program as well and decided to continue on to nursing.
was the HESI hard and do you know what score is needed to get in?
they are only taking 24 people and im very nervous.

Getting the hesi book is definitely helpful . If you use the book to study I'm sure u will be just fine . The test itself isn't that hard , but that's my personal opinion . Everyone's opinion might be different . But if you focus and study then I'm sure you can pass the exam ! Good luck

I took the HESI twice - the first time I used several different study guides, and the second I used only the study guide from Evolve Elsevier, along with my textbooks from the sections I was weak on. My score improved the second time to a 93%. I would definitely recommend the Evolve study guide.
While I wouldn't say the HESI is "hard," I do think it's especially challenging if you have been out of school for awhile. The concepts covered are fairly basic, and I hadn't taken them in over 10 years. I struggled the most with Biology, because it was a lot of plant biology and we have covered human and advanced bio far more. Brush up on your A&P, Bio, simple chem, the math taught in the study guide, and vocab. Also be particularly aware of the scientific method and taxonomy.
