  1. Do you know when they will be sending out acceptance emails for the November start date? I'm in Texas
  2. Thank you for the info! It's hard to find many posts here about the actual program and what it involves once you are accepted. Good luck with the boot camp in September!
  3. How exciting! Good luck to you!!
  4. Hi- I am in TX what about you? Yes, I think having a mentor is a plus of the program. I like the idea of having someone to help motivate me and keep me on track. I have taken the TEAS V test before but it has been over 2 years ago so I am in the process of studying to retake it. I read the selection process is competitive and only a small amount get accepted, so I know I need to score well. Also I have been reading about some sort of boot camp??
  5. centercourt- I must admit it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be. I read some real horror stories about this earlier today! Thank you for the advice on a separate user account, that is a great idea. How are you liking the program so far? I am finishing up the enrollment process and now that this History class is finished my transcripts can be evaluated. I am ready to move on!!
  6. Thank you for the response? How was the proctoring? I feel a little uneasy about giving a complete stranger control of my computer.
  7. I just enrolled in the US History 1 course through Straighterline to finish up my history prerequisite for the pre-licensure BSN program at WGU. To anyone that has taken this course or any other course through them, could you please tell me how the testing process works and what to expect. Is the test based on the material within the course or does a book need to be purchased? I feel a little lost at this point and welcome any info. Thanks!!
  8. Thank you for taking the time to post this! It is great to hear from someone currently going through the program that can provide some insight. I just started the enrollment process and couldn't be more excited 😀 please keep us updated on your journey. Best of luck to you!
  9. Hi, I would highly suggest getting the HESI study book it will have everything in there you need to know and will prepare you well for the exam. I purchased mine from Amazon. Good luck with getting into the SRGT program I went through that program as well and decided to continue on to nursing.
  10. Would you mind providing an update on how the program and clinicals are working out for you.I am seriously thinking of trying to go this route and would like to know your opinion and experience with it so far. I would greatly appreciate any info you can give.
  11. Thanks for the info :-)
  12. I am currently looking into WGU Texas pre-licensure program and would like some insight from anyone that is going through this program or has previously completed the program. What to expect with the online course work/tests and clinicals and pass/fail rate. I am currently an LVN and would like to continue working as I continue on with my studies. Also if anyone knows of any other online bridge programs and wouldn't mind passing the info along it would be appreciated.
