I really need help. I'll be taking the HESI for the 4th time. At my school we are required to make an 850, I have made 716, 838, 811. At this point I really don't know what to do. I have the HESI review book, I took the HURST Review, and I've done practice questions. If I don't pass the exam on the 4th try then that will be 2 years of nursing school gone down the drain. I just don't what to do to conquer this HESI. I am so depressed. My school isn't doing anything to help me. I just feel like a complete failure.

Follow the first tip of my program that is posted at the top of this forum. It has helped many get thru the exam.
Best of luck to you on your exam.

I know how you feel, Kindhearted-08. I took the HESI and purchased a book called Med Surg Success. Also, the "Nursing Made Incredibly Easy" books are very helpful. Study up on your med surg and dosage calculations. Also , brush up on your assessment and evaluation skills. Good luck. I am pulling for you.

I had to take the HESI exit exam at my school and it was one of the hardest tests I have ever taken! Thankfully, I passed but loads of my class didn't and had to take it three to four times. My head hurts just thinking about it. You are not alone in having difficulty with the test, I'm sorry about the stress you are going through.
The month before the test, I tried to do as many test questions as I could to build up my stamina. My friends and I would do like 200 to 300 questions a day and used NCLEX study guides like Davis, Saunders, and we all pitched in and purchased the online Kaplan guide that gave us access to thousands of questions. We also formed a strategy to answer each question according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs and each of us passed. I think that the HESI study guide discusses Maslow in one of the first few sections, maybe check it out?
