HESI and prerequisite GPA

I am waiting for my acceptance/denial letter from my school, and it has me thinking.. I wonder what is an all around average for the scores that get accepted.

So I got an idea to make a thread and ask people who got accepted into nursing what was your HESI and prerequisite GPA that got you into nursing school.

I am curious just to find out what would be an all around average.

I know every school is different and they all have different classes and different standards, but i think it would be fun just to look at the statistics and average it and just see what we get.

Every program is severely different.

I had a 3.9 and 92 HESI. Ranked 53 out of 160 accepted. I know some programs that have the highest scores a 3.0 and a 85 hesi. It really all depends.

My school uses the TEAS as an entrance exam, not the Hesi. The minimum requirement is 74% on the TEAS and a 3.0GPA. I got 93.7% TEAS score and 3.95 GPA. My program ranks by TEAS score for admission, with GPA as a tie breaker if necessary.

We don't take an entrance exam. Ours solely based on GPA. I have a 3.5, a friend of mine who also got in had a 2.75. Requirement is 2.5.

I was just accepted a couple of weeks ago and have no idea what rank I was out of 61 other people.

My school (Ccri) uses the HESI, I took my HESI exam in February and then applied to the nursing program.. Should be getting notification of acceptance or rejection within the next few days!!

HESI:

Math 96

Grammar 90

Reading comprehension 90

Vocab 92

Pre req gpa:

3.3

My school leans more toward your GPA, then the hesi, and then how many classes you took at their school.

I'm waiting to find out if I made it too! It's so torturous.
