I am getting ready to take the HESI on the 21st of January, and math is the only thing left for me to pass. The last time I took it, I felt like I did great on the decimal portion because of the calculator, but it turns out I didn't....does anyone know if the calculate affects your score???

I'm not sure I'm understanding. The only thing that affects your score is the number of questions you get correct

Do you mean using the built-in calculator on the side of the page? No, it shouldn't affect your score. It is available every question, even non-math questions.
Make sure you are REALLY reading their instructions on how to round answers, and only enter the number (not units etc).
Good luck!

When I took the HESI my school wouldn't even let us use a calculator. Using just a pencil and paper cut down a lot of time for me and I finished with plenty of time left. Good luck on the test.

Same here! I wasn't allowed to use a calculator.
