how did you do? i keep reminding myself to breathe but this test is a big deal! so its hard not to panic. thanks though! :)

I passed. Admission lady told me a lot of studens had to retake the test, we were required to get above 80 in each section. Reading section required me to reread since the questions were bit tricky for me. Math was basic algebra and A&P had some questions that only people who took science classes would know. It was not that hard, I would recommend reading the hesi book because felt like some vocabularies were in that book. You will do ok, good luck.

for the a&p, what kind of questions did they ask? was it labeling or in-depth what does this do and how does it work type questions? i don't want to spend too much time reviewing the wrong things.

No, not much in-depth. I thought my freshman sister who have never taken a&p thus far will barely pass the test with 80%. However I got b- or c in a&p courses, and I still passed. I don't remember the questions since it was few months back.

thats a little bit of relief. another lady that was in my a&p classes took the test and just made the cut off, which was 60. now they've bumped it up and i'm nervous since she's already an lvn and barely passed. i'll just review as much as i can before friday. thanks for all your help!

I m waiting to hear from schools. If u have that hesi book, I would focus on that- the test was pretty similar in content.

i get mixed reviews on that book. i do have it and have been refreshing on math. i'm making the stupidest mistakes on the math since its been so long since i've done any math problems.

I took it on Friday but only the math and reading comprehension. The math was simple math. Reading comprehension was harder than it should have been. I got a 96 in math and 89 in reading.

I used the HESI review book and got a 95 composite score, I felt the book was VERY similar to the test except for the reading part, which was a little tricky.
