I'm about to be taking my final anatomy before i can apply to the nursing program at NHMCCD. I going to be applying to Montgomery, Tomball, Cyfair and Kingwood college. I have to take a HESI and Im not sure what to study or what I need to know for it. If someone knows websites or studyguides it would be great! Can someone please help me. :uhoh3:

Thanks so much

Good luck to you. You posted this question in the "Introductions" and I will move it to the student section for more views.

a HESI for an entrance exam? are you sure? The HESI is generally used prior to graduation to predict NCLEX scoring and to help you focus on areas that you need help in. It is a 150 question test that scores you on med/surg, peds, pharmacology, assessments, interventions, safe environment, OB, gerintology, labs, prioritizing, documentation, delegation... you name it, it is on there. I cant imagine how they could test you for things that you have not even been taught

but- if thats truly what you have to take get a Saunders NCLEX review book, they are the best

I am a first semester nursing student at Cy Fair. They have a copy of the study guide on hold at the library. You cannot check it out, but you can make xerox copies of it. It really helped a lot. I got a 96 on reading comprehension and a high 80 on the math.
