We don't have to take this as an application requirement for UTA, but we do now have to take it as part of our entrance into the school. We just basically have to show proficiecy in each area or take an additional class this next semester. I just was curious how difficult the test and is and if it similar to the TEAS exam.
Thanks as always!

I would like to know where to find practice HESI A tests! I just bought an online study guide, but I would feel better with if I could actually have a look at the test.
HEY!!!
Well I took the Test today!! A+++++++++++++++ all around!!! Woooooooooooohooooooooooooooo!!!!! It was a VERY EASY TEST for those of you that are going to be taking the HESI A2 Entrance exam in the future.
But STUDY (brush up on your math and reading and grammar skills) A LOT of people failed simply because they were not prepared!!
Thanks for all the advice... Maura, everything you said in your post was on the test, and made it so much easier to know what to study for. :) THANKS GIRL!!

I thank God for this website. Thank you guys for all of your advice about the HESI A2 nursing entrance exam. I do not like taking standardized test and I have terrible test anxiety until now. I took the HESI A2 today and I am proud of myself because I overcame my fear of testing; the test was just like the study guide. My school said that they require a 75 in math to be considered and a composite score of 75 in reading comprehension, Grammar, and Vocabulary. I didn't study as much as I should have but I did good to me. I scored a 74 on the math because I didn't study the word problems and measuring like I should have. My English composite score was 80.14. If I don't get into the program, I am still proud I have been a CNA for 20 years and just wanted to see how I would do. Has anybody ever gotten in with these scores on the HESI? My cumulative score was 78.61%. I am now thinking of taking more test like the NET; any advice on that one? Any information will be helpful.

It is really very easy basic math, but know your conversions and fractions. Brush up on those before you go in there. It is really super easy.... I am awful at math and I think I scored an 89 on it. Don't stress.
