Hesi Admission Test Practice

Hi all-

I need your help! Honest answer.... I have failed the Hesi Exam twice.... The exam includes grammar, vocabulary, Comprehensive, math and anatomy&physiology. I'm not giving up! I will take it one more time. I have the admission assessment exam review book 2nd edition, this book has not help me pass the test. Is there any other material that you can tell me to buy and that will help me pass the test? There are many materials online but is really hard to see which one will really work.

Why not focus your studies on English grammar, comprehension, and vocabually along with basic math skills and A&P? I do not have any book suggestions for you because the HESI Review book is what I also have. Another thing I can suggest is ask the school admissions advisor what book(s) they recommend.

I have not taken the HESI entrance exam yet (scheduled in January) BUT I have done a great deal of research and if you go to Barnes & Nobles you will find a Barron's Study Guide and a Kaplan Study Guide book that should be very helpful. You can find the books online cheaper but if you take a look at them in the store then you will be able to see what they are before you purchase them. Also, at Barnes and Noble you can sit in one of their comfortable chairs and read to your hearts content. Best of luck to you! Hang in there and work hard.

Thanks guys! I went to the evolve wesbsite and they have a program session that can help me practice for the test but you got to pay for it. I did well on the grammar and vocabulary . The part that i did not do well was the Comprehension part. I'm taking the test next summer. I want to start practicing now. is there any cd you suggest to but? This program is very competative out of 100 students only 30 are chosen.

Well focus well on your math, then like Christine2009 said, focus on the grammar and all.Also, there are some practice comprehension questions online. I went to google and typed up comprehension practice for Hesi and I used some of teas comprehension practice online cos I knew I don't do well on comprehensions. Also, study the vocabs on the evolve reach textbook, it actually helped me. For A&P, there are some practice questions too on each systems(e.g circulatory etc), just search on google. I hope these help.
