Hi, I am applying for UT health science center and was wondering what people have scored on their Hesi A2 exam..?, so I can see what the approximate average score is....
Mine was
1) Reading Comprehension: 86.96
2) Meaning-Word Use: 100
3) Conclusions: 100
4) Implications: 91.67
5) Understanding: 75
6) Grammar: 94
7) Vocabulary & General Knowledge: 90
English Language composite Score: 90.32
8) Biology: 84
9) Chemistry: 100
10) Anatomy & Physiology: 96
Science Composite Score: 93.33
11) Math: 100
Cumulative Score: 92.99
Critical Thinking Score: 820
The lady from Elsevier finally called me back today. She said she could open my window again for a couple of days but suggested I have it opened July 1st because the new dates will be available then and I will only have 2 days to register.
So I decided to stick with this Tuesday.
Sorry for the confusion, I wish everyone at Elsevier were on the same info.
My scores were pretty much identical to yours (although my biology and chemistry scores were flipped) and mine were well above the class average.
FYI - my Hesi A2 did NOT have a calculator. I know some schools allow a calculator (built into the software) but mine did not. Luckily I'm good at math and still got a 100%.
I didn't study for the exam and found it to be extremely easy. You'd think something that determines a schooling as hard as nursing school would have an entrance test that wasn't essentially a joke...
uuuhhhggggg, I am so upset. I just took my HESI exam today. I had some REALLY good scores and 1 really bad one. I am going to respectfully disagree about the A&P section being easy and general stuff. I had several questions about the inner ear, which muscles were abductors, which hormores were produced by which glands, completely blanked about aqueous humor.
So here they are, the good bad and ugly......
1) Reading Comprehension: 91
2) Meaning-Word Use: 93
3) Conclusions: 92
4) Implications: 93
5) Understanding: 94
6) Grammar: 94
7) Vocabulary & General Knowledge: 98
English Language composite Score: 93.6
8) Biology: 92
9) Chemistry: 88
10) Anatomy & Physiology: 68
Science Composite Score: 82.7
11) Math: 94
Cumulative Score: 90.1
Critical Thinking Score: 900
Vocab section was about 50% medical terms or situations.
Critical thinking was entirely triage
