Hi, I am applying for UT health science center and was wondering what people have scored on their Hesi A2 exam..?, so I can see what the approximate average score is....
FYI- if you are appling to UT for Jan. admissions, the window to take the HESI closes June 30th. This was a complete surprise to me so I am taking the exam Tuesday. Trish, I will post my results then for comparison.
About the "window", I called Elsevier yesterday, and they can reopen your window. Have you tried doing so?
I am also applying for admission to start in January. I did not call the school yet to ask about this, so I'm wondering if you asked your school about it.
sarjan1, I spoke with Elsevier today and she told me that the window is set by the school (UT) and she said I could speak to someone else in their office to see if UT had another window. When she transferred me to the other person, I got a voicemail. I left a message but have not received a call back so I went ahead and scheduled for Tuesday.
I have taken a shorter HESI before and have been preparing for this one, so I am not tooooo worried, just surprised.
I just find it odd that the window would end so early compared to when the application deadline is due. The school I am applying to, app deadline is August 15th and they require you to have taken the HESI A2 on, or before that date.
Krispex, I just went on the UTwebsite to try and sign up fpr the Hesi exam but I hope i did it right, I just sent them an email with my name, address, and etc is that all I have to do....
I am assuming you sent the email to [email protected] with all the required info. They will send you an email with the rest of the instructions to sign up for an exam. It took 1 day to get my email response then you can register online for the exam immediately.

Are you sure you must take the test by Tuesday, June 30 for UTH Spring 2011? I talked to someone at Elsevier the other day as I was concerned that none of the July dates were open. They said that they would reopen July 1. I just e-mailed admissions at UTH to ask if June 30th is really the deadline. I was planning on taking the HESI a month from now and I am definitely not prepared at this time so this news is a bit alarming! Let me know if you all get any answers and I will do the same.

and actually i do not have the title of the book i used... but my friend got it from the library... and i dont think it had a practice test in it...?
