Hello,
Does anyone know how long it takes to get your scores after taking the HESI A2 entrance exam?
Thanks in advance!
All I can say is what I did, I memorized all the words from the vocabulary part of the study guide, and I in the test I had only 4 of the ones from there :ominous, patent, latent, labile. Math it was easy for me, although I have to mention that roman numerals were a couple : IV, XI, 256...; than you need to know the order of :0.02 is bigger than 0.003; or which number is the biggest 0.01, 0.97, 0.005 you get the idea.. Also a lot of percentages problems. In grammar were a lot of identifying the mistakes The nurse had been, has been, being, has had ...so on. A lot of verbs in the past, present, participle, past perfect... A lot of homonyms (lie lay, root( as Cheer for a team) root (of a plant). Them than, whom who, it's its. I went to the library web page and I entered in the Learning Express Website (for free) and I practice a lot. They have grammar, vocabulary, and reading for different tests (for free) this will help you tremendously. English is my second language and by doing all this I was able to pass the test. You can do it. I took two months of studying daily. Good lack to you. God bless you. If there are any other questions you have I will try to help you in any way.
Hi Hurrlybaby,
English is my 2nd language as well so I am so nervous about the test. Next month, I am going to take HESI A2 entrance exam which hasn't been required by SJC-TX before. What book should I study? Do you still have any document? Could you share with me? I really appreciate it.
Thank you so much
I typed in hesi study guide, thinking I would be able to find free online websites and I am a little hesitant. I am not sure which one would help or hurt my chances of taking the test.
Have you tried looking at amazon, ebay or half.com to see if the Evolve book is cheaper?
Hope that helps,
Amy
I'll be taking my Hesi a2 entrance exam in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone could direct me to any practice sites. I can't afford the evolve book right now, otherwise I'd be working in that. Any and all help would be most greatly appreciated! Thanks and God bless
The site I use for the vocab portions is quizlet.com it has flashcards, practice tests, and games. It has all the vocab from the book plus extra.
