AASU BSN Program JAN 2012
I thought I was the only one that felt as thought she was a bit discouraging I was planning on taking micro over until I spoke with ms. (moderator edit of name) and another lady who was a bit older they said if i pull an A from psych 2950 then dont worry about it and even if i had a b in pysch still apply first and then see what happens because since i have a's and b's except for micro i still stand a pretty good chance. and plus the classes im taking now will boost my gpa. i felt alot more confident talking to ms. (moderator edit of name) rather than ms. (moderator edit of name). I also felt ms. (moderator edit of name) was sort of setting me up for failure because she told me to apply for the program spring 2012 but i still had statistics and my biology to complete so that would have been really hard and i most likely would have ens up dropping out of it. eveyone knows if you can help it go in with no other classes to take.

Confused on what classes i should take first
I don't want to overload myself and set myself up for failure. Everyone says to take my harder classes during summer since it only lasts for 2 months instead of 4 so you get done faster. the classes I have left are intro to statistics, chemistry, college algebra, history, world lit, principle of biology 1 and, art appreciation, and intro to macroeconomics. i need help it's time to register for summer but im not sure which classes to take. im also transferring from a 2 yr school to a 4 yr so i think i might have a esier teach at the 2 year school.

Aasu nursing program question!!
Ok thanks. That was very helpful. I'm originally from Savannah and when someone speaks about armstrong they say how tough the school is and the nursing program is even harder especially trying to get into. So when you started did you have ll your pre-reqs completed? if not how did that pan out for you. I will b done with all if i pass, by spring except for two of the phed classes. Im just so scared because im a b student and on the hesi i only mde 74% because my weak point was a&p i could only imagine was the teas is like

Aasu nursing program question!!
What was yalls score on the teas and your g.p.a? do you have any advice on studying for the teas or any advice point blank.I'm so scared that I might not get in, because I dont see myself as great competition compared to other people. By the time spring comes I would only have my physial ed left. Currently I'm at a community college so math wasnt required. Any advice on math and statistics would help also because I'm very weak in math. I was also planning on applying to ga southern also just to keep my options open. Thanks alot

Stuck between a rock and a hard place need some advice
Hello, everyone I'm very stressed about my upcoming decisions because I have to do what is beneficial for me and my son. I currently live in Albany, ga and attend a community college called darton. Recently I've been thinking about moving back to my hometown of savannah to attend Armstron Atlantic University. Not only because I hate it here in Albany but also so i can have help with my son. I am in my last semester as far as pre-reqs, my g.p.a is 3.41 probably higher after this semeser. The only thing that I haven't gotten to yet is the hesi I'm pretty confident I will get in. The things that make me want switch to a BSN is because if I move back I will have help with my son, I am a single parent, I want to join a sorority (my school doesnt offer that), I want to go home, and doing a bridge program after i get my adn just seems like so much extra work. If i do choose the university I will have to more semesters (summer and fall) of pre-reqs and then I will apply for spring 2012. I am very confused and stuck I dont want to give up a almost sure thing here in Albany. but I dont want to struggle either. Any advice? Thank you.

Aasu nursing program question!!
This really has nothing to do with your question. but I'm at a community college in Albany and just decided I wnted to AASU. I was going to try and cram everything, but I would have all pre-reqs done by the time fall comes but I dont think they look at that, So I'm just going to settle for spring 2012 . Have you heard anything about the program like how hard it is, how many students apply, and how many students actually get in?? And if you get in would you please keep me posted I would love to know. And also how many pre0reqs do you have left? I have 6 left but 3 of them will be done in may.

Darton College Nursing Students Reviews
I haven't heard anything have you turned your application yet?
-
Darton College Appectance..
I was looking into their generic BSN program, have you heard anything about the school?
-
Darton College Appectance..
yes I am going to retake it even though I am hesitant about it also. Did you know on the Hesi websit they have a studyguide based on your weaknesses from the test. I put mine together and plan to study from that instead of the hesi book, since that is based off of me as an individual. Are you applying to any other schools as a backup plan?

Elementary statistics or college algebra
So do you know what statistics involve? Is it kind of like reading data information or something?
