I recently just graduated the RN program and I have been offered a position on a medicine floor. I had taken a blood test last June for Hep C and it came back inconclusive. I took another test in August and it came back clinically insignificant. I took another test and it came back inconclusive, and this was in Dec 2015. I received another phone call today and they asked me to complete more blood work... I am so stressed out. If in indeed this test result comes back positive do I need to disclose this to my employer? The paperwork they provided requested all of my health information. I think I saw a CNO document that indicated that you have to disclose this... Let's say that I do; what happens next?

Hepatitis C positivity is a health concern that does not need to be disclosed to employers. Heck, some nurses are HIV-positive, but it is none of management's business.
Thanks for the response. It was confusing because they specifically asked about Hepatitis in my health Hx for occupation health. I just can't believe it is taking this long for a Dx. They keep messing everything up... I'm feeling more and more depressed... I feel like it's dealt with and then they call me again... I'm feeling terrible overwhelmed and miserable.
