I just passed my NCLEX. I went to pay the $7.95 to get my rapid results, and was soooo nervous and shaking so bad, I had a hard time typing in my credit card info. Very nerve-wracking. Anyway, I took a local review course in my area (Cincinnati/Northern KY) by a guy named Mark Klimek. He was very helpful, but what I found to be most helpful was by doing all the questions in the Prioritization, Delegation & Assignment book. About 90% of my questions seemed to be the type that says "You just got report....which patient would you see first..." These drove me nuts, so I'm really glad I did all the practice questions in the Prioritization book. Also, I did about 4,000 practice questions from the NCLEX 3500 and several other books/CD's. So my advice....concentrate on Prioritization, and do lots of practice questions. Good luck to all.
Thanks everyone. These last 16 months of the Accelerated BSN program have been...well...let's just say not very fun. Now that it's finally over and I passed the NCLEX, it's pretty much Miller Time!
Pacificwhales: Mark Klimek's course comes with 2 books...the Yellow book and the Blue book. The prioritization book I am talking about is neither of these, and has nothing to do with Mark Klimek. Here's the book info, and you can buy it online or at any big bookstore:
