Help! Waiting for my hard license card!!

Hey fellow nurses! I have some question to those who got thier license already! Its been 1week and 1day from the time i send my payment 150$ for my license. And i often check my bank account and they have not taken the money yet! Btw i write a check under bvpnt!

Any idea! Please be recent!

It can take several weeks. BVNPT is notoriously backed up. Many states do not issue paper licenses/cards any longer only using online listings

Thanks for your reply! Btw i live in california! And what i know is we still get hard copy license card! Its taking for ever lol! Im bout to get a job and still no license to show them!!

See if your license gets posted online. That should be sufficient to start until the card arrives. Even though my state sends out paper licenses, employers are mandated to verify licenses online with the BoN as theoretically the cards can be altered. This is good for the new grad who has the license number posted online and can apply for jobs. While my state participates in quick results, it takes 4-6 weeks for a license to be issued. It was a BoN rep that told me that once my license appeared online legally I could work.
