I pick the topic of endometriosis from a research paper and I want to see if I can get some feedback on good areas to focus on. The paper has to be 8-10 pages of information so whatever I choose has to have enough information to cover the topic. I have to use nursing journal articles and books. Example of topics r/t endometriosis is pain, or adolescence, etc or should I just focus on endometriosis and talk about define, s&s, diagnostic test, treatment, patient care and management? If you can give me some feedback I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Or you could do the paper on how endometriosis affects a woman's life...the pain, heavy periods, fear of embarassment, deciding what treatment option to pick and at what age.
Obviously I had endometriosis pretty bad...I was absolutely thrilled to get a hysterectomy.
Ok thanks I will try to find journal article about how it affects women's lives.

Try the endometriosis association website. But be wary some of the articles are definitely biased, while others are definitely appropriate to be used as a resource for your presentation:

Good luck.

This. You could also include its impact on fertility.
Thanks everyone I'm looking into all them right now!
Can you tell me more about what you went through? Can I use you as a reference? I'm not sure if that's appropriate... I would like to get information from someone who experienced it. If not I completely understand.
Try contacting the endometriosis association, they sometimes have members that are willing to be interviewed about their experiences.

Try contacting the Endometriosis Foundation of America. THey just did a conference for nurses who work with girls with endometriosis.

You can definitely go the angle of what it's like to have to contend with it...I had laparoscopy for it about 3 years ago, where now my longterm treatment is an IUD (Mirena).
Also, what about researching pathology? You could look in tho epigenetics of endometriosis also.
