HELP! TOOK NCLEX-RN 9 times!!!!! Keep failing!

Published

Hello all! So I am so bummed. I graduated nursing school in 2011. Just took my boards again for the 9th time and failed. I went to 265. I don't know what to do. I did improve if that makes sense. (I know what you're thinking improved after 9 times.) well yes I am a HORRIBLE test taker. School was a challenge for me but I made it. Do I try it one more and final time? I have a tutor and she's awesome! She helped me improve. I feel like I am right there. I can see it and I can feel it. But what should I do?!

sianee, you have taken and failed this same test thirteen times. Are you really looking to do it again? What do you think you can possibly do differently so that you will have a different outcome? You have exactly two options here. You either will have figured out what you did wrong the first 13 times and have the key to passing on the 14th, or you have to accept that there isn't anything you can do at this point to pass, you have tried every review program you simply aren't retaining the information or don't have the specific thinking skills that the NCLEX requires. I hate to see you keep beating your head against the same wall and expecting that the WALL is going to crack, instead of your head. How many times is enough for you to stop torturing yourself?
