Help!!! Texas RN Licence Endorsement!

I have currently holding California RN licence since last year and educated out of the United States. Now, I am living in Texas and trying endorsement. I applied online, paid fee and now trying apply licence verification. Here is my question; do I need credential evaluation by CGNFS? or getting verification from California Board of Nursing is enough? Please help!!..

According to the Texas website

ENDORSEMENT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTERED NURSES

Read all application instructions: To avoid a delay in the application process, please answer each question and

follow each of the instructions carefully. An initial application is reviewed for a temporary license within

fifteen business days of receipt of application and fee. Temporary licenses cannot be extended for any

reason; you are issued one per lifetime regardless of the number of times a person applies. An application is not

reviewed for a permanent license until all requirements are met and fees are received. An incomplete application could

delay approval for the temporary and/or permanent license.

Requirements for licensure in the State of Texas

1. Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing (general), of at least two academic years in length which

includes theoretical and clinical instructions in medical nursing, surgical nursing, obstetric nursing, psychiatric nursing and

nursing of children. If you were educated internationally, then our office will need to receive a Credential Evaluation Service (CES) Full Education course- by-course report from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS), the Educational Records Evaluation Service, Inc. (ERES) or the International Education Research Foundation, Inc. (IERF)

validating the type of nursing program you completed.

Hi Silverdragon, thanks your value information but i have already read this information few times and i applied online texas board. step 2, i need to verification licencure. i confused that information says you could get verification from your original state of California so is that enough or additionally, i need get verification from my nursing school i educated where is Turkey?. Please help....

I would say call BON directly! do you need to present a CES report too? Im endorsing to Oregon and they need CES...
