well i think we dont have to think even if there are lot of filipino students graduation, but we only produce 60thousands a year and choose to go to middle east which the offer is good too. US is not there optin now. they have australia and new zealand now. hopefully the governmentt will have a positve talks with france , thats according to POEA though we have to study frech. but knowing filipinos they can easily learn. goodluck to your nursing career and take note new curriculum is addedd.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Australia and NZ require experience. Not sure how France will happen especially as they are a part of the EU and EU state have to employ from own state then EU before the rest of the world.

France is not going to be an option to work there as an RN, it will be as a caregiver just as it is in all of the other countries. The french have a hiring freeze in place for RNs, just like the rest of the EU.

And Australia and NZ both require the local license as well as paid work experience now, so that pretty much will be a limit for most to be able to go there. The training programs are not normally accepted and the patients are not the responsibility of the trainee at all.

For France, the french needs to be perfect, and at college level to be exact; no one is going to be able to do it in a few months to say the very least and for the RN role, would need to pass their licensing exam in french as well. Sorry, but just not going to happen.

We have seen over and over again, all of these wondeful contracts that your government puts in place, and not one of them are for the role of the RN; but as an assistant only. They definitely do not have the welfare of the nurse in mind. Only how they can get some money.

there are only a few credible nursing schools now. in our school secound coursers still need to study and be a BSN graduate for 4 years.

The Philippine government is now trying to clean up their act and trying to close down most of the second courser programs at this time.

I would seriously think about considering school over there, especially when you take into account the number that start but never make it thru their licensing exams, that says much for the way that things are being taught.
