HI TO ALL NURSES!

I was able to pass my CGFNS on my own expense last november 2002. after receiving my rresult february of 2003, i then started looking for an agency to help me realize my dreams of coming to the US. i was lucky enough to sign a contract with Enhance Immigration in Cebu stating that they are going to pay for all the necessary expenses in order to become a nurse & work in the US. true enough, they have scheduled me to take IELTS march of 2004 and passed it in time before my CGFNS would expire. i was then able to file for my visa screen. BUT TO MY SURPRISE, despite the fact that i have kept on reminding them as to when they are going to pay for my visa screen, as it was stated in the contract, they just tell me its not important at the moment since visa screen will only be needed during interview at the US embassy in Manila. So, i was very CONFIDENT that they knew everything what was best for me. My case was file dec 2003 and was approved Oct 2004. i was interviewed by my employer dec 2003 thru phone. i am scheduled on may 3, 2006 to take my NCLEX in Hongkong. last April 10, 2006 as i was on my way to work, i received a phone call from my agency in cebu that MY IELTS HAS ALREADY EXPIRED.HELLO!!!! Who's fault is this????? i have tried to contact also our correspondent agency in the US (IRG), dont know if you have heard about them, but the person in charge has not given me any feedback regarding this matter. MY GOD! I CANT AFFORD (MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY, PHYSICALLY, SPIRITUALLY, AND FINANCIALLY) TO TAKE THE EXAM AGAIN! Now, what will happen to my CGFNS exam? will it expire also? PLEASE I NEED COMFORTING WORDS/HELP/PRAYERS and everything regarding my problem especially now that my nclex is fast approaching!

PLEASE................

NURSE IN DISTRESS FROM THE PHILIPPINES

:angryfire :monkeydance: Can't believe I'm with the same agency! I signed up with them after getting my Visa screen Dec. 2004 and after they promised that they would file my I-140 immediately to avoid retrogression. Turns out that my I-140 application was filed with the Vermont processing center last April 2005. At present the processing time for said center is Dec. 10 2005 which means that i should have received my approval by now. But all I have received are 2 emails from the USCIS asking me for confirmation and a form from the USA Department of labor which my agency asked me to sign 3 days ago. They also ask me to sign an addendum to my contract raising my salary from $22.00 to $26.00/hour. I have'nt signed the papers yet as Iam contemplating on withdrawing my application. :trout: Im confused if they really are in the slow mode or is it because of the retrogression ( it took 6 months for vermont to change from march to April 2005)?. I can say these because another agency tried to sign me up, and the first paper that they asked me to sign was a department of labor form. My question is how do I go about withdrawing my application, will they charge for any expenses which they incurred while processing my papers. If I sign up with another agency will it affect my application as the USCIS would surely find out that I have 2 employers? Can I just say that they have abandoned my case and have not heard from them regarding updates about my application? Second I have waited for a year, would the form from the Department of Labor mean that my petition would be approved in a much faster time than it would take me to sign up with another agency and go to the process of waiting in line with the USCIS again ? Guess Im getting confused here. Thanks!:monkeydance: :monkeydance:

hi apple4doc, nice to hear from you. just like you, am also planning to sign up with other agency but i have doubts because im afraid i mught go through the VERY LONG process again (waiting time). i've been waing for more than 3 yrs now. i just took my nclex in hongkong last may 3 and thank GOD, I PASSED. as of now, am just waiting for any advice from them. actually, i called up fred just now but i couldnt contact him. his cel no. is not in use anymore. the landline in cebu just hang up my calls. dont know whats going on. but still im crossing my fingers that everything will turn out right.

just keep in contact with them and ask for your progress. open communication is the KEY.
