Please disregard formatting discrepancies that occurred during the copy-paste process. I'm struggling with writing my resume because I want to be specific about what I've done on my unit these past two years, but I feel I'm stating the obvious at times. I am open to any and all constructive criticism. Thanks in advance!

I agree with you ... you spend too much space stating the obvious. I'd cut about 33% out and re-format the rest to make it easier to read (more like a list and less like paragraphs).

Saying that you provided care for "up to 6 patients ..." covers a lot. I don't think there is any reason to list all the things you did for those patients. I'd probably include that you have been a Charge Nurse and the title of your residency research project. If you feel it necessary to list particular nursing skills, special procedures, equipment you are familiar with, etc. do that on another page. Simply add a statement say something like "See additional page for a list of skills, procedures, and equipment I am experienced with."

Change staff nurse to clinical nurse.

So everything is okay except the actual nursing portion. Figures haha. My only problem then is that I don't know what to put. This is all I can come up with (and yes, I did join a new committee since yesterday). I don't know what else to say, because I don't have any special recognition that I've received. I don't know how to stand out.

These are far too lengthy of skills statements. You might say something like:

Your objective statement needs to be more catching. It is obvious your goal is to obtain a CCU job or you would not be applying for the position, so make it a riveting statement. Without being able to attach something, I can't really show you a good resume format.
