help with research

I am trying to find articles from popular magazines not nursing journals or health care delivery in the US. I have done a google search and searched other databases but am not having much luck. I do not want anyone to do my work just give me some tips on searching databases.

Try searching Yahoo!News, HealthDay or Reuters Health. You may find articles that mention previous publications in the mass media (as well as in professional journals). You could also narrow down the kinds of publications for which you are looking and look at their online archives. Time and Newsweek archive some of their issues online.

You probably won't have much luck with a database like CINAHL because many of those databases link to scholarly sources only.

Hope this helps!
