Sad to say I have failed my teas test. Technically past by 60% but I needed a 69% in the reading portion to pass. I got a 54. I feel stupid
i have one more chance to take it or else I won't get in. Is there any advice out there that could help me with my reading comprehension. I used the ati book but it wasn't enough practice for that portion.
I desperately need help!

What study materials did you use? I recommend the ATI study guide. Don't feel discouraged, you have another chance. Now you know what to expect. Use the print out from the TEAS to focus on your weak spots.

My school offered a short prep class for the TEAS within their student learning center. I wonder if you could find more resources there?
I used the Ati Study Guide but it some of it wasn't similar on the test. Plus with the severely low score I got I'm going to need a lot of practice then just from the Ati Guide specifically reading related. The school doesn't offer any prep classes. Any ideas on how I can improve? Any specific books, websites or etc?
I'm so sad I would dramatically need to improve.

You need lots of practice tests. Reading was troublesome for me too. I googled free practice tests and kept taking it, going back to review my thought process for wrong answers, and then took some more practice tests until I got the hang of it. Here's one site with some tests:
Reading Comprehension TEAS Practice Tests
I think with reading, it's not just about memorizing. There are certain specific format each question follows but you're going to have to really understand the topics and how to apply it. Each topic in the ATI guide is fair game and you need to really know each one by heart and how to apply it when reading texts. I suggest reviewing each topic/subject, search up different explanations about the topic, then practice applying it and doing problems related to it. There should be an overview of how you did on the first test. Look at the questions you missed most on and go back to review those specific sections in the reading test.

Hi! Do you still need help with TEAS reading portion? Reading was my lowest on my first try. I got 97 when I took another teas test.
Yes I do need help.
What's your email address? If you don't mind.

I took the TEAS today, and I got 83.3 in reading. It's not the best but I took the practice tests in the ATI study guide, and I took the 2 online ATI practice tests. They are expensive but definitely worth it. After you take it ATI will give you your score and what you need to improve on, and I would go more in depth with what they recommend you know better! Hope this helps some!
